Art With A Heart will pay a limited number of teachers to deliver our program in their school this year.  The requirements to be a Collaborative Teacher are as follows:

 

You must be willing to do the following:

 

·         Get approval (in writing) from your principal for you to use your classroom at no charge after school hours to teach the program

·         Attend a two day teacher training workshop to learn the curriculum

·         Teach the curriculum as it is provided (adapting the curriculum may be allowed, only at the discretion of AWAH staff)

·         Promote the program using the materials provided

·         Register students, collect fees from parents if necessary, take photographs and conduct evaluations as requested by AWAH Staff

·         Host an exhibit at yours school (inviting parents and school staff) after each 10 week program

 

You will be offered $20-$30 per teaching hour depending on qualifications and experience plus $10 per class for setup and clear up time
