Honors Program
Art With a Heart takes pride in encouraging all students in their artistic abilities. For students who exhibit a natural talent or passion for art, we offer a weekly Honors Class. Awards and invitations are given to select summer camp participants so they may continue with art instruction through the following school year. Classes run from August-March. Students must be chosen by Art With a Heart teachers, or may submit a portfolio of their work in order to be accepted into the program. Class fees are discounted according to family income. This sliding fee scale is in accordance with the Marion County living wage guidelines. We strongly believe all students should have access to quality visual arts programs, and therefore will not restrict children due to financial restraints.
