When you’re happy, art puts on its new coat of colors and its shimmer matches your smile.” - Alyssa	After-School Art Enrichment Art With a Heart provides high quality after-school art classes to a variety of Indianapolis area schools with at-risk student populations. The goal: to engage children in artistic expression. Our after-school programs are intended to rejuvenate a child who is tired from his busy day at school. Lessons are designed to hold the attention of the children. Students use a wide variety of art mediums and are taught unique art techniques. Core curriculum standards are incorporated into the art lessons to reinforce and encourage academic success. Duration of Program: September-May Frequency: Weekly Time: 3:30-5:30 Target Population: Grades K-8, separate curricula for grades K-1, 2-4 and 5-8 Location: Your school Art With A Heart will pay a limited number of teachers to deliver our program in their school this year. The requirements to be a Collaborative Teacher are as follows: You must be willing to do the following: · Get approval (in writing) from your principal for you to use your classroom at no charge after school hours to teach the program · Attend a two day teacher training workshop to learn the curriculum · Teach the curriculum as it is provided (adapting the curriculum may be allowed, only at the discretion of AWAH staff) · Promote the program using the materials provided · Register students, collect fees from parents if necessary, take photographs and conduct evaluations as requested by AWAH Staff · Host an exhibit at yours school (inviting parents and school staff) after each 10 week program You will be offered $20-$30 per teaching hour depending on qualifications and experience plus $10 per class for setup and clear up time If you would like to be considered for the Collaborative Teacher program please contact Andrew Lee at 317 823 9555 x15 or alee@artwithaheart.us	Programs After-School Calendar Collaborators Honors Classes Junior Board Kindergarten Maps Student Galleries Summer Camp
